This colander / scooper has a multitude of evenly spaced holes that are just the right size - for a cat litter box. That's right, I apologize Joseph� for buying this awesome strainer for my cat. I was just tired of so many small clumps falling through the slats of the poorly designed litter scoops available in retail and pet stores. My kitten goes frequently as you would expect from a growing animal, so the clumps are rarely solidified enough to come out unbroken. The pet scoop was dropping particles that prevented the clean up from really cleaning the sand. Enter the J�. The holes are perfectly sized and plentiful enough to get even the small particles of waste while the sand flows through back to the box. It has a long handle and the rigid design lets you literally scrape the sides of the box to get it clean. It is the cat litter scoop I have always wanted, and if your cat likes to sleep on the bed you should want it too. Joseph� - sell it in pet stores! Send me a royalty check!
